From 29.06-01.07.2021 in the municipality of Belitsa was held the first three- day training within the activity for strengthening the capacities for management of tourist destinations.
The first part of the training was dedicated to defining and introducing the concept of tourist destination management, types of tourists and their needs, building the connection of the tourists with the tourist destination, improving the attractiveness of the tourist destination, analysis of tourist destinations in the cross-border region, the connection of the true development of the tourist destination by reducing the impact on the environment, with numerous discussions in groups on related topics.
Participants in the training were representatives of the municipalities from the cross-border region, NGOs and representatives of the business sector operating in the field of tourism, with a total of 30 representatives who improved their knowledge and skills during the first part of this training.
