The workshop of the project “Knowledge, Protection, and Valuation of Old Urban Cores” for inventory, signaling, and mediation, among the countries North Macedonia, Albania, and France, conducted by the association Sites & Cités remarquables de France, was implemented in collaboration with the Local Self-Government of the Municipality of Štip on October 5th at the Bezisten Art Gallery in Štip. The workshop commenced with a presentation, observation, and discussion of the activities carried out by participants in the project from various cities in North Macedonia, Albania, and France.

Štip, as a significant part of cultural heritage and a component of the project, promoted the settlement of Novo Selo, representing the oldest urban core in the city. After a year of conferences and online workshops, the discussion continued on-site, along Krste Misirkov Street in Štipsko Novo Selo, accompanied by experts in urbanism, regional and international projects, architects, representatives from municipalities in North Macedonia, Albania, and France, the Ministry of Culture in Albania (Ministria Infrastruktures Ministria e Kulturës), the Municipality of Štip, and the National Institute for Cultural Heritage and Museum – Štip.
