The Centre for development of the East planning region has started the works activities for conservation of the church "St. Vlasie” at the archaeological site Isar in Shtip within the project “Cultural bridge through the centuries”.
The project "Cultural bridge through the centuries" is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Local Self-Government within the INTERREG IPA CBC Program Republic of Bulgaria – Republic of North Macedonia.
The restoration and conservation of the church "St. Vlasie” will be made of stone and opus from which in the first phase the walls of the church will be restored up to 1.5 m from the ground level, in the second phase an access path to the church will be built in the length of 146 meters, while in the third phase, the church and the path will be illuminated with candelabra and appropriate signposts will be placed.
The contractor BV Engineering DOO Bitola is expected to complete the restoration and conservation of the church "St. Vlasie" in 14 months.
