Conservation and restoration works at the archaeological site Bilazora in the village of Knezhe, Sveti Nikole

It is an ancient city from the 7th to the 2nd century BC, known as the Paionian capital of the Paionians. The locality of Bilazora in the village of Knežje is located 4 km. west of Sveti Nikole, positioned in the eastern outskirts of the village of Knežje. From the 5th and 4th centuries BC. several characteristic objects have been discovered: Fortification system around the Acropolis; The northern entrance party to the Acropolis; Northeast complex of buildings; An early antique temple in the Doric style in the northern half of the Acropolis; Government palace in the northern half of the Acropolis.
